“We had access to an adjoining property and were able to film just a few yards away from one of the shooting stations,” states SHARK Investigator Stuart Chaifetz. “We filmed one pheasant who was shot, fell hard to the ground right near a shooter, and then writhed in pain as the shooter laughed at her. It was truly a horrific and dishonorable event.”
A canned hunt is typically done on private land where the “hunter” pays to be essentially guaranteed success at killing an animal(s). Winge Pointe is notoriously known for holding pigeon canned hunts. People from different states participate in these “hunts.”
In the video you will see a pigeon taking its last breath in the arms of one of SHARK’s rescuers. Four other birds were also able to be rescued.
“Canned hunts are despicable events where animals are tortured and killed just for fun. We want the public to see what happens at these hunts so they will rise against them and help us shut them down,”states Chaifetz.
Canned hunts are cruel and barbaric. Please watch the video to see for yourself to see how these “hunts” work.

What the hell? Do they know they look like cowards and morons? They can’t even kill an animal the way it should be. I do hunt but am totally against this form of ‘hunting”. It’s stupid and cruel. My buddies feel the same way. Bunch of morons.

These killers make themselves look like utter fools. They’re unable to participate in real hunting so they resort to having the animals thrown into the air. Even then they can’t kill all of them. It’s ridiculous and barbaric. I agree with SHARK that this needs to end. Why is PA so antiquated when it comes to animal welfare?

Why do they do this? It’s illogical.
