I didn’t realize there was a rainbow behind the fawn when I took this picture two days ago, let alone a double rainbow! The young whitetail was eating alone. There was no doe nearby. This is a fenced-in area where the deer are safe from hunters. However, I do see deer on the outside of the fence walking along with the herd until they find another entryway to join them. If something unfortunate has happened to the mother, the fawn is old enough to survive on its own.

And the dreams that you dream of
Dreams really do come true…”
