David Clee, left, assaulting Steve Hindi, SHARK president
Steve Hindi, President of SHARK (SHowing Animals Respect and Kindness) was assaulted by a former Bensalem police officer, David Clee, at a pigeon shoot.held at the Philadelphia Gun Club (PGC) on Saturday, February 22nd.
The incident occurred after a day of protesting the pigeon shoot by SHARK while they were documenting illegal acts committed by the PGC members. They were, of course, rescuing birds.
Upon entering the PGC club, members covered their license plates and many wore masks to hide their identities from SHARK.
After witnessing numerous vehicles entering the club with covered plates, I called the Bensalem police,” states SHARK Investigator Stuart Chaifetz. “A short time later, an officer arrived and entered the PGC to investigate. When she exited the PGC, she told me that she saw no plates covered. She then explained that an officer would have to witness the covered plates in order to cite them.”etz, SHARK rep, reported this illegal practice to the Bensalem Police immediately.
When the shoot was finished a procession of four vehicles drove down the PGC’s driveway with David Clee in the first car. Clee is also the head of security for the PGC. The second vehicle was driven by a person who wore a mask with dark glasses and had its license plate covered as seen in the photo.
SHARK president Steve Hindi moved in front of the vehicle to prevent it from illegally entering the public road as the police were called.
David Clee, then exited his vehicle and physically assaulted Hindi to force him out of the way of the vehicle, thus allowing the driver to illegally drive onto the public road.
“Clee didn’t just commit assault – he committed assault so that a shooter could illegally drive onto a public road with covered plates,” states Hindi.
SHARK captured the assault on video. They don’t expect David Heckler, Bucks County District Attorney, to do anything. SHARK won’t be surprised if Hindi is the only one who is charged.
Mr. Heckler is well known to the PGC through their lawyer, Sean Corr. Heckler never charged Rober Olsen with any gun crime when he previously pulled a loaded handgun on Hindi three years ago to the day of this latest incident.
According to SHARK, a letter will be sent detailing all of Heckler’s prosecutorial misconduct, to PA Attorney General Kathleen Kane’s office asking for her to take over this case.

Wasn’t Hindi in the wrong by stopping in front of the vehicle? Not saying Clee had the right to assault him but two wrongs don’t make a right.

Once again,, nothing will be done. If a man can a pull a gun on Hindi and nothing happens, what will anyone do this time? Beyond corrupt.

It will never change. Corruption at its best. Protect the animals and you’re the bad guy. You abuse and kill animals- you get rewarded. Disgusted!
