Puppy Mill Awareness Day is fast approaching. This coming Saturday at Intercourse Park in Lancaster County, the 8th annual Awareness Day will be held. Co-founders, Walt and Kathy Hargis, work very hard each year to make it a success.
Guests/Speakers include Tamira Ci Thayne, President of Dogs Deserve Better, Scotlund Haisley, President of In Defense of Animals, Jenny Stephens, Executive Director of North Penn Puppy Mill Watch and Guardians of Rescue.

Awareness Day has become so popular that other states now have their own puppy mill awareness day events.
At least 40 vendors will be on hand. The annual march through the streets of Lancaster will occur to let visitors and tourists know what is happening in PA’s puppy mill capital.
