The weather is warm so I guess we have finally hit that time of year again- kitten season. A season that animal welfare advocates dread each year when animal shelters and rescue groups are filled to capacity with mother cats and their kittens.
The solution to this ever-increasing problem ~ SPAY AND NEUTER YOUR CAT! AND KEEP YOUR CAT INDOORS!!
No Nonsense Neutering (NNN) located in the Lehigh Valley offers an extremely viable solution to help people to spay and neuter their cats and feral cats with their high quality, low cost spay/neuter clinic.
Their mission is “to provide affordable sterilization services to people who own cats and dogs”. NNN devotes 50% of its surgery time for free roaming cats and provides TNR assistance when needed. No Nonsense Neutering began operations in February 2008 as a weekly clinic. By May 2008, NNN expanded to twice a week, with some Sundays available monthly .As of December 2009, NNN offers clinics 5 days a week and some Sundays are available.”
“No Nonsense Neutering operates with board certified veterinarians and a trained and experienced tech staff. The NNN clinic is a similar model seen at the Humane Alliance and The Feral Cat Project.”
No Nonsense Neutering’s schedule for cats in June is as follows:

From Martha Kathan of NNN:
PLEASE try to trap the feral mother if you are accepting kittens from people. It is much easier to get her if you trap her and the kittens at the same time.If you take the kittens, she has no reason to stay around although she will come back and bring another litter later this year. Call me and I will help you accomplish this.
Contact NNN if you have any questions. That number again is 610-703-8077
