Lisa Snyder, 36, 2400 block of Rt. 143, Albany Township, Pennsylvania, has been charged with two counts of First Degree Murder in the deaths of two of her children, Conner, 8-years-old, and Brinley 4-years-old who were found hanged and in full cardiac arrest in the basement of their home on September 23rd.
Snyder called 911 and stated that her son Conner had been bullied in school and talked about committing suicide and didn’t want to go alone. Paramedics found the siblings hanging three feet apart in the basement with both ends of a plastic-covered dog lead wrapped around each of the children’s necks. They were resuscitated on the way to Lehigh Valley Hospital on a helicopter where they were placed on life support. They died within minutes of each other three days later.
From the beginning of this very disturbing and tragic case, Berks County DA John Adams didn’t believe Connor committed suicide according to the press conference he held today.
Five cellular devices were confiscated and several google searches revealed Snyder searched for “carbon monoxide in a car how log to die” on September 17. She did a google search on the show “Almost Got Away with it” best episodes on September 20th and then looked for “hanging yourself” on September 22rd. She visited a website that describes how to hang yourself with a short suspension.
On September 23rd, Snyder searched “does a hybrid car produce carbon monoxide while idling.” She also picked up a dog lead at the Hamburg Walmart hours before the siblings were found unresponsive.
Snyder told police that Conner and Brinley wanted to play fort in the basement with two chairs and the dog lead. She claimed they played in the basement often. She said she went outside for 10 minutes to smoke a cigarette and to take down laundry. When she returned to the basement to ask what they wanted for dinner she found them. She alleges she tried to get each of the children down from the lead to no avail. She then called 911 upstairs and never returned to the basement.
Two wooden chair were found knocked over where the two were found.
A 17-year-old son who also lived in the home told police that they rarely played in the basement.
On top of this tragedy, Snyder posted three explicit pictures of her dog performing sexual acts on her and wrote explicit messages to a unnamed friend through facebook messenger.
Snyder has also been charged with having Sexual Intercourse with a dog, Endangering the welfare of children, animal cruelty and tampering with evidence.
She is being held in Berks County Prison without bail.
Adams said Snyder is showing little to no emotion.
During the investigation, the DA and the police wanted to locate the family dog, a pit bull mix. She said she gave the dog away. The plastic-covered lead was meant for a much larger dog which could hold up to 250 lbs. Adams said the lead was definitely meant to commit this crime and not for her dog.
Adams hasn’t decided if he will pursue the death penalty. They are still searching for a sixth cellular phone which Snyder said went missing the day of the murders.

RIP Conner and Brinley says
She deserves the same fate she inflicted on her children! Vile. Not human. Beyond nauseating.
Worldiscrazy says
She deserves nothing less than what she did to her children.?
