Pictured is Revy, an 11 yr. old male greyhound who has been missing since last Wednesday, May 1st. For reasons unknown, Revy walked out of his backyard that morning. He has never done this. Revy’s mom noticed he was gone almost immediately and began her search for him instantaneously.
The backyard in which Revy last was seen was in the Rosemont Development off of State Hill Road near the Giant Food Store. Sadly, there have been no sightings of Revy since he was last seen on May 1st.
This is where and when the public’s help is so greatly needed. Revy is a greyhound and was adopted from a greyhound rescue. Greyhound rescues save those dogs whose lives revolve around a dog racetrack. When they no longer are racetrack winners and/or perhaps were never fast enough to race, greyhound rescues save their lives from a horrible fate and adopt them to loving families like Revy’s who give them their first chance at a normal life. Revy’s family is anxiously waiting for him to come home.
Revy’s absence is taking a huge and emotional toll on his mom. She needs him home where he belongs.
Because greyhounds are bred and taught to race, their natural instincts are to run. This is why a fence is required when adopting a greyhound. It is imperative that you don’t chase Revy, if you should see him. His inclination will be to run away from you.
As of this writing, Revy’s family has no clue where he is due to no sightings of him. The family would like to set traps but they don’t where to place them.
A facebook page has been created to help with any sightings or other information regarding Revy. Friends and family have requested that you report any sightings or updates ASAP on this page. Clicking the link will take you directly to his page https://www.facebook.com/HelpFindRevy?fref=ts.
If there is anyone reading this and may have any ideas to help find Revy, please contact Megan with your information at 610-823-4070.
It has been requested that you contact Revy’s mom, Nancy, only if there has been a sighting of him. You can contact Nancy at 610-223-4882. Remember, call Nancy only if you have seen Revy. No other inquiries please, at the request of the family. They want to keep their phone line open for this purpose.
If you have other questions and/or possible sightings of Revy, please call Nancy’s friend, Megan, at 610-823-4070. Megan is also at the forefront of this missing dog alert
If you know anything about Revy’s whereabouts, please go to the fb page or call the phone numbers listed.
Remember not to run after him if you should spot him. It will cause Revy to run away.
Please share this information by showing the picture of Revy to others. Please feel free to print out Revy’s photo.
Revy needs the help of the public. Please call with any and all information.
Let’s bring Revy home!!

I hope Revy is found! I love greyhounds. They are so gentle despite being treated so badly at racetracks. Being locked up in cages for most of the day is animal cruelty.

I went out every single day when my dog was missing. I put an ad in the paper every single day. I posted flyers everywhere. I called radio stations. I kept driving around placing clothes of mine at different spots. I never gave up and Nancy, you can’t either. I know how painful this is. I know how much Revy means to you. He is your child. That’s why you can’t give up on finding him. You have the strength in you to do this. Revy needs you to have the strength to find him. He wants to be home with you. You can do this!! Keep looking every day. Good luck to you. I will pray for the safe return of Revy. Blessings to you.

Prayers going out to Revy!

I would still place cages in the vicinity of your home even though there have been no sightings of the dog. Keep your scent around. A dog’s nose is super-sensitive and will want to be close to something with your scent on it. It certainly can’t hurt.
Good luck getting your dog back!

🙁 I’m so sorry. I feel Revy will be back very soon. Good luck.

Ever thought of using a psychic? I know it’s a controversial subject but you never know. Reputable psychics have been used by police departments. Revy is a handsome greyhound. Think positive and remain positive!

I’m sorry to hear about this. Prayers can do wonders. It can’t hurt. God hears you.

I’d use flyers wherever they’re allowed. Keep searching every day. Make sure people know how to contact you. Call the local shelters even those that aren’t local in the event someone picked him up and turned him in elsewhere. Call a pet detective. Be proactive. I know how hard this is but you have to keep looking.

I know the emotional toll it’s taking on the family. It has happened to me. If you keep searching, be active doing things to find Revy, you will feel you’re accomplishing things to help find him. I know how painful it is. Revy wants you to come look for him. He’s waiting for you. Please keep looking!
