Yesterday I attended the Open House for the new No Nonsense Neutering Clinic located at 1500 Frush Valley Road, Reading, PA 19560, Muhlenberg Township.
Berks County needs this type of facility quite badly. Thousands of animals are being euthanized in our county and NNN has taken a fantastic step toward a solution for the pet overpopulation problem that exists in this area. Spaying and neutering is essential for this cause. This will provide an important service at a reduced cost which will allow those who previously who couldn’t affoard to now have a choice. And that is the bottomline.
As I spoke with Martha Kahan, president of NNN, it’s quite apparent her enthusiasm and that of her staff was the driving force for this clinic. There is no other clinic like it in Berks. I am quite thrilled myself!
I was given a tour of the facility. The clinic is clean and large and welcoming. NNN which also has a facility in the Lehigh Valley, will be offering services to pet dogs and cats as well as feral cats. Your pet will be given the utmost care.
NNN in Berks County operates with licensed veterinarians and vet technicians. The clinic will be open on Wednesdays and Fridays and the fourth Sunday of the month. Check in time is 8:30 AM. You must pick up your animal later that same day.
