UPDATE ON BELLA:
“Bella is back home safely. She crossed Route 1 and went back to her deceased owner’s house. She was hiding under a table on the back den when a friend went by to just check and found her. She was dehydrated and full of tIcks, but otherwise, she is fine.”
“Her owner’s brother, Zach and his family are going to keep her. They’re worried about her because of going through such a trauma. If anyone has suggestions to help her adjust in her new life in a new house with a new family, please forward and I will pass it to Zach. Thank you to everyone for helping to get the word about Bella. Zach and the family are very appreciative of all support and help with Bella! It’s so good to have a safe ending for Bella.”
While this is certainly great news, I do worry about how traumatized Bella is. While she is presumably in good hands, it’s a different world for her. I am happy her owner’s brother and his family will be making her part of their family.
This poor girl, Bella was last seen near Longwood Gardens and hasn’t been found. She became lost on Saturday night, March 17th, at approximately 8 pm. Bella is an American Staffordshire Terrier.
Very tragically, her Dad was killed crossing Route 1 to try to retrieve her. She is fawn and white. Her black nose has a white stripe down it as pictured.
Bella is wearing a choke collar.
She is a friendly dog.
