Delgado was rescued after having been used as a “bait dog” in a dog fighting ring. Delgado was left with festering wounds causing even more pain and discomfort. Dog bites are painful and none the less so when it is another dog being bitten. Despite his condition and abuse, he is a friendly and happy dog.

Folks have been expressing outrage over Delgado’s situation and treatment. Assistant Manager Tricia Moyer shares some more info about Delgado… he was brought to Hillside by the Dog Warden last week having been picked up as a stray in Girardville, Pa..
