Last week, rapper Jay- Z announced that he would be going vegan for 22 days. His wife, Beyonce said she would be going vegan for 22 days as well. He said that it takes 21 days to change a habit. I surmise he’s going to decide if this is a habit he chooses to change at the end of this trial period.

Last week, all eyes were on this famous couple as they entered a restaurant with Beyonce wearing a fur coat and suede shoes. A hypocrite or an oxymoron? Or does it matter?
A vegan is someone who doesn’t eat or use animal products. I’m guessing the pop singer doesn’t understand what a true vegan implies. Vegans eliminate all animal products and don’t wear leather and avoid products made from animals. Vegans live this lifestyle with deep conviction because of their tremendous compassion for animals.
Then there is Kanye West who is notorious for wearing fur along with his baby’s momma, reality “celebrity” Kim Kardashian. West boasts a fur line uses astrakhan.
What exactly is astrakhan? It is the fur of an unborn lamb- a fetus.
The unborn lamb is ripped from the womb after the sheep is killed, with its coat still intact. .

There’s also Jennifer Lopez who frequently uses animal fur in her clothing line. She has been photographed wearing fur many times. According to her Director of Marketing, Charlie Ross, “Jennifer Lopez is a great lover of fur.”
Then there’s Lady Gaga who was targeted by PETA. Part of her response to their claims includes the following:
“I am not a strict vegan. I have truly always stayed away from skinned fur, especially I have never been able to afford a nice one, but this does not mean my morals are rigid and that I won’t bend at the sight of an absolute art piece of a coat…You see a carcass, I see a museum pièce de résistance,” Gaga added.
The list goes on and on. Ashely and Mary Kate Olsen, Rihanna, Madonna, Victoria Beckham, Cher, Fergie, Kate Moss, Joan Rivers, Pippa Middleton, Kobe Bryant, Aretha Franklin, Kid Rock, and many, many more.
While celebrities and others view wearing fur as sign of elegance, class and success, all I can see are animals that have been tortured for their pelts.
How can anyone justify doing this for fashion?
Sadly animals are tortured for those who choose to wear fur. How can they live with themselves? This constitues class, success and glamour? How?
We have faux fur which has evolved to a level that many can’t tell the difference between the two.
Wearing fur isn’t about class. It is a crime against animals. The photo speaks larger volumes than my words.

Why do we care about this person? She’s not a smart person. Ever hear her try to make intelligent conversation. She’s too much into herself to care about animals.

Fur makes anyone look classles and clueless! To brutally kill animals by electrocuting them in the anus or vagina, or skinning them alive or raising them in penned cages says a whole lot more about the celebrities you glorify. They think they’re entitled to abuse animals so they can wear them. They are stupid and oxymorons!
As far as Beyonce is concerned, she’s a joke. Wearing a fox fur and suede shoes while she goes ‘vegan’ is ludacrious. She’s doing it for attention. She’s too into herself to go vegan.
That picture should make anyone who wears feel disgusted! How could anyone wear fur after viewing that? Kanye West is so full of himself. Can’t stand that moron. He doesn’t care how many animals die to make his stupid fashion line or for what he and his stupid gf wears. Stupid is as stupid does!

I think Beyonce is hot-NOT! To wear dead animals on you makes her classless like so many others “stars”.
These “celebrities” do this for their image and not what they think is right. Beyonce exemplifies that so well. She won’t remain a “vegan” because she isn’t that already. She is ignorant. Her fans probably don’t know any better.

Anyone who can wear a fur that brutalized animals to kill them for their fur is despicable. I was never a fan of hers but never a chance now. Beyonce, be smarter than this.
