Join me for this episode (Friday @ 9:30 PM) when my guest, Ed Eppenstein, and I discuss what to do if or when you find a baby animal. Do you leave it alone? Do you move it? Do you take care of it or take it to a wildlife rehabilitator? We’ll be talking about opossums, baby rabbits, turtles, birds, ducks and more! A fun show to learn from two people who’ve rescued and taken care of many animals but also recognize when it’s time to take an animal to that wildlife rehabilitation specialist. We deal with Red Creek Wildlife Center who takes in just about any animal. They also will give updates on the animals you bring to them.
Monday is Memorial Day when we, as a nation, honor our men and women who died while serving our country during parades and observances. The U.S. Military has used tens of thousands of a variety of animals to serve our country. From horses to mules, to pigeons, sea lions, and dolphins. Most of us recognize the Military trains dogs to be a partner to a human soldier. I made a special video to honor the Military dogs who served our country.
