On this show, I introduce you to the Bull Taming Festival held in India every January. It is also known as the Jallikatu Festival. Men try to hold onto a bull’s hump or grab money off of their horns for money and prizes. Videotape of this festival will be shown.
I will also be talking about the Boras djurpark in Sweden which has recently revealed it has killed nine healthy lion cubs since 2012. Why do they engage in this practice and what do they say to their critics?
Janine Choplick, Humane Officer of Hillside SPCA, will be joining me to give us an update on the horses who were found deceased and frozen on January 2nd of this year. What was in their necropsies report? Janine will share the latest reports and news.
