This unique animal care event presents international and Australian speakers covering a range of topics of interest to anyone who loves animals, cares for shelter or rescue animals, provides medical treatments for such animals and finds homes for unwanted pets. The conference goes beyond the care of animals and includes other topics such as reducing intake, marketing initiatives, fundraising and volunteering.

In 2016 the conference is offering a second stream which will focus on how to give emergency and life-saving care to injured and sick wildlife. Expert veterinarians will provide invaluable information on triaging native animal patients and providing pain relief and initial stabilisation before referring the patient to a wildlife hospital.
