Join my guest, Christopher E. Grimes, Director of Dog by Dog Documentary, as he and I explore the making of his latest movie about puppy mills.
Christopher and his crew started this project two years ago. The film will be released this year.
In their own words, “Dog by Dog is a documentary that aims to wake up the American public to the horrible realities of puppy mills by following the money trail across the United States and confronting those that have maintained this corrupt and irresponsible system. While many documentaries have admirably exposed the public to the sickening underworld of puppy mills, what has been missing from the public discussion is a close examination of the umbrella of monetary support which have sentenced millions of healthy dogs to death and allowed the most irresponsible dog breeders to thrive. Many people try to save these animals one by one, or dog by dog. This documentary aims to point out the problems of the current system in order to move toward a kinder and gentler one.”
The shows starts at 6:30 PM. If you know anyone who needs to understand the horrible, and greedy puppy mill industry, please have them tune into this show.
The show will be shown on Comcast, Ch. 15, and Service Electric, Ch. 19.

I can’t wait to see this documentary! Finally, a film that shows why these places stay in business. It’s always about money! Follow the money trail and you’ll see why puppy mills thrive like they do.

Great interview! Puppy mills are the most vile places. The people who run them will burn in hell. Anxious to see the documentary.

Chris was good. It seems like he covered alot of territory for the documentary. When I heard about the Ohio dogs living in darkness 24/7, I wanted to go free all of the dogs. Can’t say what I want to do to the owners and workers of that place. It sounds better than Madonna of the Mills.
