Daniel, the Beagle, sent me an email (with help from his dad, Joe Dwyer). Yes, Daniel, the heroic dog who survived that ghastly gas chamber in Alabama and saved by Eleventh Hour Rescue located in New Jersey, needs our votes for the 2012 American Humane Association’s “Hero Dog Awards.”
Daniel’s father, Joe Dwyer, states ,”We are in the LAST TWO WEEKS of voting! Daniel needs your help! We are so thankful for all of your support so far and would appreciate your help in the final stretch! Please vote EVERY DAY! And SHARE with your friends and family, including e-mail lists.”VOTE FOR DANIEL THE BEAGLE
Daniel and his father, Joe, are on a journey to end the use of gas chambers in the nation. Daniel joins his dad as he talks to different groups and/or organizations about outlawing animal shelter gas chambers.
Senator Dinniman (D) of PA heard Daniel’s story and made an ambitious decision of his own – creating a bill (SB 1329) to end the use of gas chambers in animal shelters in PA. More in next entry.
Please vote for Daniel so he can continue his journey, with the help of his dad, to not only educate others about the horrors of gas chambers but aid in ending this barbaric practice.
Voting ends on June 30th.
