“This is happening in people’s neighborhoods and they have no idea, that’s the scary thing,” said Linda Torelli, director of programs at the Brandywine Valley SPCA. “It’s hard to believe how you can be entertained by it. It can happen anywhere. Sick people for sure.”

End animal abuse says
Why do people use animals to make money? Lazy bums abuse animals so they can profit. The dogs should turn on their owners instead of dogs. He’ll probably get a slap on the wrist.
weiner dog says
Why? Because they’re lazy! It’s much easier to make your dog work for you than you work for your money. They don’t give a damn about the dogs. That’s why they’re abused. Pit bulls pay a high price because of the breed they are. You better be careful that a dog fighter won’t get someone to steal your dog right our of your own backyard. I hate people!

Nibbles will need someone who understands what she’s been through. She’s been through hell. Poor baby.
Helen M Or says
Agreed. Fighting dogs need people who understand what they’ve been through and have to know how to treat them. It also depends on how long dogs have been involved in dog fighting too. It can be longer to rehabilitate them. I hope she finds a great home.

Dog fighting became more prevalent after Michael Vick’s arrest and publicity stunt with the HSUS. Pacelle took his side- a murderer of animals but didn’t for women. He never apologized for his actions. What does that tell you about him? He won’t be missed. In fact, the animal world is a tiny bit better since he left. Not much because there are still too many men in the executive positions in animal organizations. Hmmm…why is that?

People are mental to hurt animals.
