Check out this video where a cat was rescued from a six story freeway pillar in Houston. I saw a similar rescue on Animal Planet. In that case a female officer crawled onto the pillar to catch a black cat who landed a similar fate.
If you watch the video closely, roughly around two minutes and 47 seconds into it, you will notice the man who saved the cat removed something else from under the pillar. Does anyone know what that is? It almost appears to be a can of cat food. But that can’t be, can it?
And more importantly, how did this cat end up there? In the other case it was surmised the cat had either been thrown from the above freeway or jumped off. In either case, that cat had been taken to the freeway on purpose in my opinion. People dump their pets along rural roads, why not freeways? I wonder how many of his nine lives this cat has used.
