Can you imagine having 20 dogs and 2 puppies in what appears to be a mid-size station wagon with you as pictured? A car full of feces and soaked in urine. How could any sane person do that?
That is what happened in Northern Texas. The woman who was in this car refused to leave her car when approached by authorities. This woman had provided a pot of water and blankets for the dogs.
The authorities found the woman to be incoherent. They were able to rescue all of the dogs and were taken to a shelter. Her hearing is scheduled for February 16th when it will be decided ,I presume, the fate of the dogs.
What do you think should happen to this woman? No charges have been filed against her. Do you think charges should be filed for having dogs living in conditions with ammonia levels from the urine so outrageously high?
Do you feel this woman meant harm to her dogs? If you look closely, you can see one of the dogs with a license tag. The dogs that you are able to view look healthy and clean. I don’t know about the others.
I don’t think the woman meant harm to her dogs but she obviously couldn’t rationalize that what she was doing was not in the best interests of the dogs. She has been taken into Adult Protective Services.
What do you think should happen and do you think she should get a few of her dogs back? Can you imagine having 22 dogs in your own vehicle??
